India- Beyond the School Corridors

Kids running with school bags with some Mr X / Y/ Z celeb offering his 100 watts colgate smile to cameras emphasizing the importance of education of young India with the catchy line of some nutthead who invented the line "Padhega India to Badhega India".

I wonder how does people every year silently digest the drama about Indian Education. I remember my good old school days when every1 of us is tired of mugging the essay for about a thousand of times " The Importance of Education" as it is the favorite hot cake essay of literature question papers. Ur nibs will be tired, the sharpeners will get choked with pencil dusts..still the salient points of the topic never extinguishes nor does the teacher's unending enthusiasm to draw circles in some points even adding few more points. The point is from the giant manifestos to slogans and commercials the government has tried and exhausted every possible communication medium to help people to realize the true needs for education. So the only thing left is now question papers. So u can say that is the main reason for being the essay so hotcake in the exam hall.

But wait and think !!! Don't we know already the need for education? For who ever you may be literacy at certain level is required. So the government has come up with various low budgets and govt aided institutions actually working towards the cause. But dat is not what I am concerned. Its beyond the school. It's the situation where the money matter comes into play. Our honorable Human Resource Minister has made up a very interesting phenomenal comment in this regard. He stated that the from all the number of children going to school only a few of them actually make up for the higher studies. A true observation indeed. So he proposed to come up with more number of educational institutions to improve the current scenario.

The mockery of Indian politics is statements are made even before they are realized. Our concerned minister is so deeply concerned about Indian education that eventually he jumps into the same pit. Long are the days gone of the lethargic concept "Two birds in one stone ". Ur thoughts and actions can't part ways. They have to follow hand in hand. Just giving a nod to the privatization of educational institutions with ur proposed idea just don't fit in. Let face it. Higher studies need money. And after u r highly educated the first thing u need is a job. May be with the help of  "my chance to get lucky" quota certificate anyone gets admission in a good college but what after that? Who will bear the expenses? With more and more number of institutions who will be liable to maintain the correct educational standard in them. Without proper education how can any student face the competitive world? And what if u don't get ur chance? What if after passing ur grad school only thing left with u is ur simple printed grad dergree, certificates and marksheets.

Vision should b clear.Students intending for higher studies as well as education institutions are also responsible to prepare their students in a market oriented way,  A farmer's son can go back to his own long prodigy of farming back after class X...but he can't and he will not after being graduate. He will search for a job. So where's the job?

Let me digress a bit. After 3/4 yrs in the grad school let us see about the job prospective s in our country. If you a good student from a high collared institution you do have your concrete chances to be under the secured roof of a good organization. Other ones can just mug up all the competitive exam books for participating in the cat and mice race for limited seat government examinations. Other than you are just left with my dear BPO 's. Let me dissect the normal working class into Core or IT works. So from the core departments the recruitment is sheepishly low all round the year. And to IT lovers i would just like to share a candid point as i am also a same noob in the pros field.  If you just give a damn shit of all the recession thing...about the number of people sacking going on all the year round..you may consider one important fact.....to the concept of Cloud Computing. The concept is still in its budding stage but the main logical funda behind it is simply to reduce the work force. To even more maximize their present resources in order to get a low cost.  Now the present scenario presents us a important statistics out of all IT aspirants graduating every year only 25% of them are actually placed. I may not want to blow away the buds of the sweet dreams of parents for getting his son a IT professional but the implementation of cloud computing will be a harsh blow on the ever recruiting nature of IT market.

So more number of institutions..no jobs..only viable option to pursue higher studies as per ur pocket affords up to a limit . So I offer my exclusive readers a more disgusting catchy line to be a reply for the seemingly inspiring line " Padhega India to Badhega India" . Just turn around with your grace....just bend a little ...spread ur left hand in a begging style [just like Amitabh saying "Haaih"] and reply
"Paise kya per pe ughte hai." .

The Lost Kids

" I keep walking on ..through the wicked roads and starry sky...lost within myself I move on an on. Yes I am lost. I am lost in the roads,i am puzzled by my thoughts, and i will soon give up when the beast of night will come upon. I don't know the lanes...they are tricky enough ..twirling and twisting just when you think it is simply normal. I can recall the time when you left me...just how you convinced me but i could not see behind it. My tears have dried now...they have yielded deep beneath the devilish hunger for foods within me. But now I have learnt a lot. I know how to steal money. I know how to beg properly. And you know I am also not alone any more. Because I have met them. My friends. They are just like me. We speed across every  traffic signals in day and night. There are so many different cars and buildings. You remember how i used to get scared of unknown people earlier but now i meet thousands of faces every now and then. I sleep in the footpath near where you left me.May be someday I will meet u, and then I can ask you why did u depart me and my sister in the platform that day? "

This words are not mine but of a lost kid...Have he told me this? No he didn't. He is too young to have any feelings right now. But down the line after some years he will definitely feel so. The departed kids in Sonarpur Local compartment in one sunny day and their tears provoked me to pen down this. I will definitely look forward to hear about their whereabouts in future because the tears of their innocence is just the painful implementation of great Darwin's law of "Survival of the Fittest". I would bow to that someone who can help them. So wait.... let me give you the details of them so you can identify them. A girl and a boy(her brother) ragged dresses, the little brother crying feverishly while the girl 2/3 older than boy is trying in vein to control her every drops of tears. She is also trembling in fear but she can't give up for the sake of her brother. Every passer by is asking her about their parents, where she live. She can tell where she live but the other people could not locate it. She will tell you about her mother, the one who has left them in the train compartment assuring them that she was just going to fetch water. But she didn't return and the train left. Now you will be thinking whether it is intentional or the train simply left before her mother could arrive. I don't know the answer. Neither they did.

You might be wondering what these specifications will help you to find those two lost kids? Actually it will not. Nothing can. Because there are not just 2 of them . There are thousands of them, deprived of their innocence, childhood and overall LIFE. So even if you can bring happiness in the life of any of them u are actually helping those two lost kids whom I have met in just a sunny day of my life.

The Masala in Indian IssStyle ;-)

Entara Rascala Mind It!!!!!!!!!

I am sure my opening could not get better cliche line than this. The big mustached Rajni threatening the "Mr. Black" villains(sorry for getting on the color but the white kurtas and the crowish color of the south indians is a just a panache in the masala style) The kollywood is very apprehensive of 1 factor : no matter what you see, it must be done in issStyle!!! But don't blame it on them. I truly believe south has got its true roots of Indian culture unless who could have thought to do actions wearing lungis and shawl draping around shoulder.

But I will be abusive if I only mention you the immense resource of masalas in the land of idlis and sambars. The Bollywood and never mind our own Tollywood has shown a great potential in this field also. I will mention my one fav line from bolly world : "Ek bar maine jo commitment kar di ,,, to main khud ki v nahi sunta". No prize for guessing from which film is it. Yes!!!! It is from the ever successful film "WANTED" and from our very own charismatic SALMAN KHAN!!!! In the land of Tagore how could any1 forget Mithunda and his oscar winning character "Minister Fatakesto ". Actually the lines "marbo ekhne las porbe sosane" are so popular at one point of time even i used to fear to detach my ears from the safe musical comfort of my mp3 player.

If you think i distaste masala films that's surely untrue. I can bet if you watch a dozen art films regularly you will also get tired of all the intelligent supplements in those cinemas. As per science our brain has a lot unproductive region compared to that of productive part. So we need some brainless cinemas to entertain our mind also. I also recall even during post release of OSO , SRK has advised his fans "keep ur brains at home " before watching this. See, even the intelligent actors are aware of the brain storming scripts and performances they have delivered. So if you watch any hero/heroine to say b4 release "I AM A DIRECTOR'S ACTOR" comprehend it as : " THIS FILM IS TRASH. SO PLZ DON'T BLAME IT ON ME".

The candid part is nobody is blaming. That's why Rajnikanth is a superstar. Wanted,Ghajni,Oso are benchmarks of Indian cinema and Dabanng has stormed away the box office records of 3 Idiots. Long live the muscular hero who fights pow(10,100000...) villains.........long live the sweet sexy heroine who dances in the rain, sings a romantic song and fell in love with the hero in 1st glance..and long live the heroine's dad who is the mastermind of all the nuisance. Bow to THE DIRECTOR and plzz don't forget to give "seetis" on some paisa vasool dialogues. And if you get acidity in digesting those masala cinemas then pick up some not so known movies like Shaurya, Bumm Bumm Bole...etc etc.
